Using the site means accepting this
By reading, browsing or signing in to AI Learning Universe, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. They work alongside the privacy policy, which explains what happens to your data.
What this site is
AI Learning Universe is an independent educational project run by one person. It publishes lessons, interactive labs, a glossary, explanations of research papers and an AI tutor, covering artificial intelligence from absolute beginner to research level.
It is not a university, not an accredited institution, and it awards no degrees. Nothing here is professional, legal, medical or financial advice.
The site's content
All content on this site — lesson text, explanations, diagrams, code written for lessons, the glossary, the curriculum structure and the design of the site itself — is © AI Learning Universe. All rights reserved.
You are welcome to:
- read, study and learn from anything on the site, for free;
- quote short passages for teaching, discussion or review, with attribution and a link back to the page you took them from;
- use the ideas you learn here in your own work, code and writing — knowledge is not owned.
Without written permission, please do not:
- republish, mirror or syndicate lessons or substantial parts of them, in whole or in edited form;
- resell the content, or place it behind your own paywall;
- scrape the site in bulk to build a derivative product or to train a model on its text;
- remove attribution, or present the content as your own work.
Third-party material referenced on the site — research papers, official documentation, other people’s libraries — remains under its own licence and its own copyright. Where a paper is explained here, the explanation is original; the paper is not.
Accounts
Reading requires no account. If you want progress tracking, you can sign in with Google, which is the only sign-in method offered.
- You must be 18 or older to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent and hold the account with you.
- Keep your Google account secure; anyone who can sign in as you can see and change your learning data.
- You can have your account and all of its data deleted at any time by emailing uvieai49@gmail.com.
What you write stays yours
Notes, answers, code and anything else you enter into the site remain your property. You are not signing them over.
To make the site work, you grant only the minimum licence needed to operate it: permission to store your content, and to display it back to you. Nothing you write is published, shared with other users, sold, or used to train a model.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, its database or its APIs;
- use automated tools to scrape content in bulk or to hammer the AI tutor;
- attempt to extract server-side credentials, prompts or other users’ data;
- use the site to produce material that is illegal, or to harm other people.
Responsible security research is welcome. If you find a vulnerability, report it to uvieai49@gmail.com rather than exploiting it.
The AI tutor can be wrong
The tutor is a language model. It retrieves passages from this site’s lessons and generates an answer from them, and it can still be confidently, fluently wrong. It can misread a question, invent a detail, or give an answer that was true for an older version of a tool.
Treat its answers as a study aid, never as an authority. For anything that matters, verify against the primary source — the paper, or the official documentation. Do not rely on it for professional, financial, legal, medical or safety-critical decisions, and do not run code it produces without reading it first.
The same applies, more mildly, to the lessons: they are drafted with AI and reviewed by a human before publishing, as described on the about page. Review catches a great deal, but it is not infallible. Corrections are welcome and get priority.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. There is no guarantee that it will be available, that it will be free of errors, that content is complete or current, or that any particular feature will keep working. It is a project maintained by one person, and it may change or go offline.
Limitation of liability
This is a free educational site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it — including decisions you make based on its content or on tutor answers, code you run, exam or interview outcomes, lost data, or interruption of service.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Third-party services and links
The site runs on services operated by others — Vercel, Supabase, Google and Hugging Face — and links out to papers, documentation and other resources. Those services and sites have their own terms and their own reliability, and neither their content nor their behaviour is under this site’s control. The privacy policy lists what each service receives.
Changes and termination
These terms may change; the date at the top of the page changes with them, and continuing to use the site means accepting the revised version. Lessons, labs and features may be added, edited or removed at any time. An account may be suspended if it is used in breach of the acceptable-use section above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
